In reference to "Osun students to study Ifa – Rauf Aregbesola"

In reference to "Osun students to study Ifa – Rauf Aregbesola"

Immediately this news went viral on the social media, most especially on our point of convergence; Facebook, I was following the reactions and counter-reactions to actually see if these traditional critics of Ogbeni Aregbe will dish out their usual parcels of condemnation. Simultaneously, I was thinking on how to configure my write-up as soon as these 'people' take the charge of pages of social media so as to precisely present my feelings, but when I could not see the usual, and the salivation of my keyboard is geometrically increasing, I quickly remembered that Aregbe has not done wrong in the definition of wrongs of his critics, since he is now 'traditionalizing' and not 'islamizing' as being previously alleged.

To be precise, the characters I am addressing here are simply three:(1) Mr Governor of the State of Osun, (2) His critics who are mostly Islamophobes, and (3) the Muslims who are expropriating the politicians or/and pursuing the task of islamizing Western Democracy.

(1) To Mr. Governor, a Democrat, a human right defender and a sympathizer of Socialist Democracy, I doff my cap. You have succeeded in adding feather to your cap by achieving this milestone achievement, an unprecedented action in the history of South West Nigeria. No one with the fact of what western democracy is culpable of turning some one too will ever be surprised of this your action. You are record breaker. Since in the human rights community, as collectively enshrined in chapter IV of constitution of FRN (as amended), the African Charter of Peoples' rights and Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the freedom to religion, conscience and belief is an alienable that must be defended. And democracy in its ideals if ideal respects all rights, whether the minority or the majority. Egbon Raufu, the rest is when atupa is off.

(2) To his critics who are mostly Islamophobes, where is your pen?, or better still your PC. Or were u taken to another planet at this present time? These set of islamophobes would have gone mad again if this action was in support Muslims just as the social media went agog when he last declared Muharram 1 as public holiday. Where is Tunde Fagbenle, where is Niyi Osun? The same clause of defending human rights would be stiff to cite by you then since the phobia for the growth of Islam is psychologically killing you. I have no problem with introduction with Ifa study (I have studied it before) since it will be made optional, and not compulsory. When will you start to keep mute when it is for the Muslims, most especially when you are not negatively affected. You need to remember, the journey took by the German priest is a free choice for whosoever is feeling uncomfortable when Muslims' rights is given.

(3) The last set of people are those brethren of mine, who are so confident in their self-defined methodology of salvaging the Ummah as the expense of their own souls. They continue applying the same method of trying to islamize western democracy with the expectation of different result. We have learnt enough from experience (my personal experience is outstanding), check Morsi of Egypt before he became President and compare him to whom he is now ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3NCiaozL0k ), and many like that. Citing Aregbesola as a victim of this never will be an understatement. Western Democracy is ruinous..... Run away.

I wrote a piece in April, 2012 warning our brothers from practicing expropriation of the bourgeoisie (http://semiuakanmu.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html ) by romancing these politicians under whatever pretense with the intention that the proceeds will be exclusively be for the betterment of the Muslims. What has your close ally brings to Ogbeni, or he told you of his 'democratic' dividends for the people of State of Osun.

For those who have listening ear, Umar bn Khattab had once said: " We are set of people that are honoured with Islam, if not for Islam, we would be humiliated"
