: A Response To Tilde's Release of Boko Haram Women and Children Indicts Jonathan and the JTF of War Crime

'All said, anyone is free to give the President a pat on the release order. I withhold mine. And I doubt if Boko Haram will be impressed too' -Dr. Aliyu U. Tilde

RESPONSE:

WHEN PREJUDICE OBSTRUCTS VISION
Despite some occasional facts-impregnated write-ups of Aliyu, it takes an unjaundiced eye to see many of his conspiratorial theorism, sensational essay and polarity-characterized write-ups.
Writers are social engineers, but many who have successfully mastered the art of confusing readers easily drive their emotions and mal-position the minds of their innocents 'fans'.
The international statues furnished by this writer are known and standing, and the FG is worthy of being accused of the said crime. But in social re-engineering methodology and parlance of social constructionism, sincere and balanced social engineers need the intellectual acumen to push out issues as at when due and appropriate.
Even, if Aliyu's Dr is for the treatment of animals, his living among humans must have taught him a lesson that sanctity of human lives must be enjoined. In doing this, no matter the 'anti-Jonathan' stance he would not like to jettison, moves made in restoring peace to the embattled northern region should be constructively dissected.
We need to ask Mr. Aliyu, where was this advocacy of his, the entrenchment of the rights of the Boko Haram's wives ever before now?  If any regional group must be taken with a pitch of salt, it is the so-called Northern Elders' Forum; a group where Prof. Ango Abdullahi can stoop so low to trade words with Asari Dokubo, and to become hilarious as ever expected, the group endorsed Nigerians' mandates ever before they go to polls, and theatrically selected a 'Northern President' for them. Mr Aliyu's pen was dry then to caution the NEF to stop bastardizing our collective intellectualism.
Before the State of Emergency saga, Amnesty was the advocacy. I also believe in this 'stick and carrot' strategy, and we prayed Mr. Jonathan will prove being sincere for the citizenry at least this time around.
ALL WE ARE SAYING IS THAT THIS BH'S MADNESS MUST STOP!!
Immediately, the state of emergency rule was declared, Mr. Aliyu was part of those who believed 'carrot' solely can be used to admonish the demented brains who have taken terrorism as a means of livelihood. He kicked against the offensive campaign of the Nigeria Army and postulated, I better say assumed that non-violent method will end the insurgency.
As aptly as he should be advised, Dr. Tilde was told to come out in black and white on how  his 'military-cum-strategic-non-violent' methodology will inform the Boko Boys to drop arms and hug peace, a group that has blatantly refuted the possibility of being romanced with 'AMNESTY'.
ON STICK AND CARROT WE STAND, AND SO SHALL IT BE
As pointed by Uncle Jona, the release of the Boko Haram detainees (or ONLY their wives  and children) is based on the recommendation of the Amnesty committee, the same method that Dr. Tilde supported, the same step that aligns with the obvious interest of Mr. Aliyu, then morality and social consciousness demand a balance textual response, even if he has fraternized 'ANTI-JONATHANISM'. A blunt one-sided antagonism is cheap and utter social naivety.
To now say: 'All said, anyone is free to give the President a pat on the release order. I withhold mine. And I doubt if Boko Haram will be impressed too', really suggests that nothing good must be seen in Dr. Ebele, and provokes us to ask if Aliyu has become a protem spoke man for Boko Haram.
